The Travis Scott Concert at Houston's Astroworld Stadium resulted in one of the deadliest concert tragedies in history when the riled up crowd began rushing the stage. Travis Scott and Live Nation, the concert promoters, had plenty of opportunities to get the crowd under control. But they failed in their responsibilities and 10 people were killed. In 2021, Texas suffered a major power grid failure during one of the worst winter storms in the state's history.
